Taken at the Madoura Pottery, Vallauris, France as a freelancer for Life Magazine. Negative was lost in studio fire. Acquired for $5000 in the early 1990s from a gallery. Offered by the LIFE Gallery of Photography on artnet.com at 16x20" for $900 (almost certainly not from the original negative).
